Post on our Job Board
Handshake is JCC's college-to-career network for students, graduates, and employers. Students and graduates can review employment or experiential learning opportunities and network with employers. Employers can post available opportunities and review student profiles.
Opportunities eligible for posting by employers include; job, volunteer, internship, and other positions available to students and graduates. Posting positions on Handshake is free and there is no posting limit! We encourage employers to contact Student Employment Services if there are any questions.
*We evaluate and approve or reject job postings based on our employment & recruiting guidelines. If you have questions regarding Handshake please contact Student Employment Services.
Looking to Hire Local talent for Short Term Projects?
Jefferson is excited to highlight an opportunity for our corporate and nonprofit partners to offer short-term, professional, paid work experiences to current students through Micro-Internships. Through Micro-Internships, students can demonstrate their skills, explore career paths, and develop their professional networks. Unlike a traditional internship, these paid opportunities typically range from 10 to 40 hours of work, and most can be completed remotely. Not only does this help the students, but it allows you as employers to get immediate support and enhance your company’s pipeline for future interns and new hires.
Recruit on Campus
The On-Campus Recruitment Program allows interested employers the opportunity to set up an informational table in the lobby of the Jules Center Student Commons to engage with students, faculty, and staff. Many of our students will stop by to learn more about employers and the respective organizations and the different opportunities they have to offer.
To recruit on campus, employers/organizations must complete the Equal Employment Opportunity Terms & Conditions Form.
Career Fairs
We host career fairs for graduating students throughout the year. Invitations are sent to employers who have previously posted positions in Handshake and/or have participated in past recruiting or career fair events.
Campus Visits
In collaboration with our Workforce Development Division and our Academic Schools, we offer employers the opportunity to tour campus, meet faculty, visit classes, and present to students.
Employer Interest Form
If you'd like to participate in a career fair, recruit on campus or come for a visit please complete the Employer Interest Form.
