The Center for Community Studies (CCS) at Jefferson Community College released the findings of the 13th Annual Lewis County Survey of the Community at a meeting of the Lewis County Board of Legislators on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. The meeting took place in the Board of Legislator's Chambers located on the second floor of the Lewis County Court House, 7660 North State Street, Lowville. The public was invited to attend the presentation.
The Center for Community Studies at Jefferson Community College (JCC) held a twentieth anniversary celebration October 24th in the Deans Collaborative Learning Center, located on the college campus. College faculty and staff, northern New York community members and Center for Community Studies board members, both past and present, gathered to reflect on the history and accomplishments of the Center.
On Tuesday, October 1, 2019, the Center for Community Studies at Jefferson Community College (JCC) was granted membership into the Transparency Initiative of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR). The Center for Community Studies is the only SUNY college or university and the only U.S. two-year college in this select AAPOR group.
