  • Presented by Jefferson Community College (JCC) Student Support Services, Life Changing Power in Your Choices presentation featuring motivational speaker, Kyle Quilausing, will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., respectfully, in the Robert R. and Jean S. Sturtz Theater, McVean Student Center.

  • On Thursday, August 24, 2023, Jefferson Community College (JCC) held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new multi-sport turf complex located behind McVean Student Center. Over 100 College officials, faculty/staff, athletes and supporters along with officials from New York State and Jefferson County turned out for the ceremonial event.

  • A partnership between New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and the State University of New York (SUNY) has been established, supporting the academic and career success of Direct Support Professionals across New York State. Jefferson Community College (JCC) is a participating SUNY College, with the grant-funded Direct Support Professional 1 (DSP1) microcredential. Classes are set to begin fall semester - August 28, 2023.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) will hold Instant Admit days on August 7-11, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During Instant Admit, prospective students can complete their college application, receive immediate admissions decisions, apply for financial aid, and register for classes all in a single appointment. Students must bring their high school transcript, and all official college transcripts in their original sealed envelopes.

  • A partnership between Jefferson Community College (JCC) and Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) is creating an exciting opportunity for residents of the tri-county region to earn their Surgical Technology Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree from MVCC without leaving Watertown.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) has partnered with The CDL Schools to offer a 4-week Class A Master Tractor Trailer Driver Program for individuals 21 years of age and older who are looking to meet the qualifications for the Class A CDL Skills test. Training will be held at the Lewis County JCC Education Center fall 2023 and on JCC's campus in Watertown spring 2024.
