    Jefferson Community College (JCC) will hold its Fall Commencement Ceremony for December candidates for graduation on Thursday, December 19, 2019. The ceremony will take place in the McVean Student Center Gymnasium at 6:00 p.m. and will be video-streamed on the College's website, www.sunyjefferson.edu. Approximately 174 students will be eligible to graduate from Jefferson in December upon successful completion of degree requirements.

  • Begin the holiday season on a high note and spend the evening with Jefferson Community College music ensembles and Jefferson Singers, the College's official choir, as they perform their annual fall concerts on December 2 and December 3.

  • North Country Writers

    The English department at JCC is now accepting submissions for its 2019 North Country writer's contest open to all residents and friends of the upstate New York region. Aspiring writers won't want to miss this opportunity to be published online and receive cash prizes! There is no entry fee. The deadline for submission is December 6, 2019.

  • In honor of National Veterans and Military Families month, Jefferson Community College (JCC) Veterans Services and athletics will host Military Appreciation Night on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 during the JCC men and women's basketball games versus Mohawk Valley Community College. Military Appreciation Night is one component of Veterans Appreciation Week November 11-15, 2019.

  • The Social Sciences Department at Jefferson Community College (JCC) will host a screening of the documentary Exiled featuring two deported U.S. military veterans on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in Jules Center, Room 6-002. A conversation with Hector Barajas-Varela, one of the deported veterans, will immediately follow the screening at JCC.
