  • Anyone interested in building a foundation for a career in construction is encouraged to apply for pre-apprenticeship construction training offered by Jefferson Community College (JCC). Thanks for a New York State Development of Labor (NYSDOL) grant, unemployed and underemployed workers who meet NYSDOL eligibility may have the opportunity to apply for free.

  • Sophomore shortstop, David V. Nikolayenko, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) baseball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending April 2, 2023. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Balanced Nutrition.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) in partnership with the National Tractor Trailer School, Syracuse, is once again offering a 5-week CDL Class A Accelerated Training Program for individuals 21 years of age and older who are interested in preparing for a rewarding career in transportation. Space is limited. Early registration is recommended.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) will hold a nursing program information session for prospective students on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on campus in Room 6-118, Jules Center, and virtually via Zoom. Check-in will take place in the Jules Center Commons.

  • Thanks to a State University of New York (SUNY) Workforce Development Training Grant, Jefferson Community College (JCC) is offering local businesses a 75% discount on customized training for their employees in areas including, but not limited to, technology, office management and organizational skills. Additionally, in many cases, the College can accommodate specific requests from employers.
