  • Current and prospective Jefferson Community College (JCC) students can now get on-demand answers from an artificially intelligent texting chatbot named "Jeffie". Jeffie will support prospective students throughout their admission process by providing information they need twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Administrators at JCC partnered with AdmitHub, an AI chatbot service, to develop the tool.

    The Jefferson Community College (JCC) English Department is hosting a writing workshop series titled Brown Bag Scribes every Friday from 12:20 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. in Jules Center, Room 6-110, through December 6, 2019. Individuals just beginning to explore writing as a new vocation and published authors alike are welcome to attend. There is no cost.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) Workforce Development and Business Division (WDBD) will hold an industry roundtable for healthcare and technology employers of Jefferson and Lewis Counties on Friday, October 18, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Ramada Inn, 6300 Arsenal Street, Watertown, in the Renaissance room.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) will hold an Open House on Friday, October 25, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Open House is a great opportunity for prospective students to experience the culture and learning environment at JCC first-hand and get answers to questions about attending Jefferson. Check-in and registration will take place in the Commons, Jules Center (Building 6). Family members are welcome.

  • Kelsey E. Finster Named Athlete of the Week

    Sophomore setter, Kelsey E. Finster, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) volleyball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending October 6, 2019. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions and Under Armour.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) will hold a nursing information session for prospective students on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. in Room 5-201, David G. Gregor Building. Attendees will learn about pre-requisite coursework, admission requirements, the College application process, financial aid, mentoring and tutoring services and more.
