  • A new era is set to begin for Jefferson Community College (JCC) athletics as JCC celebrated a groundbreaking ceremony for a state-of-the-art synthetic turf field on September 29, 2022. The new multi-sport surface will measure 136,800 square feet and accommodate soccer, baseball, softball and lacrosse programs.

  • Sophomore outside hitter/middle blocker, Chelsea M. Greenwood, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) volleyball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending September 25, 2022. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Balanced Nutrition.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) fall late session, 8-week, classes are held on campus, at the Fort Drum Army Education Center and in four flexible online formats: traditional online (independent work), hybrid (classes meet on campus and online), live (classes meet online on specified days and times), and blended (independent work with some virtual meetings online).

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) and SUNY Potsdam have partnered once more to offer jointly registered degree programs in Early Childhood Education, Birth-Grade 2, and Childhood Education, Birth-Grade 6, allowing students the opportunity to dual major and complete their associate and bachelor's degrees in four years, without interruption.

  • Sophomore goalie, Shareef J. Stokely, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) men's soccer team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending September 18, 2022. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Balanced Nutrition.

  • The Jefferson Community College Board of Trustees has retained the services of R.H. Perry & Associates (RHPA) of Asheville, North Carolina, specifically CEO Paul Doeg and senior consultants John Hutchinson and Thomas DaRin, to assist the College with its search for the next president of Jefferson Community College.
