Jefferson Community College (JCC) live-streamed its annual Pinning Ceremony for graduates of the College's nursing program on May 26, 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Thirty-seven (37) candidates for the Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in nursing were eligible to take part in this special program.

Jefferson Community College held its 57th annual spring commencement ceremony virtually on Friday, May 21, 2021 for a second consecutive year due to the coronavirus pandemic, and DiplomaPalooza! on Saturday, May 22, 2021. JCC alumni now total over 24,000.

Jefferson Community College registration is open for fall 2021 semester classes beginning August 30, 2021. Classes will be held on JCC's campus in Watertown, at the Fort Drum Education Center and Lewis County Education Center in Lowville as well as online in a variety of formats. Jefferson Community College (JCC) has partnered with several community organizations to address a shortage of qualified childcare in the area. Working together with Community Action Planning Council (CAPC) and the Watertown Small Business Development Center (SBDC), an accelerated program to educate, train and enable individuals to start their own in-home childcare business has been developed.
