  • Jefferson Community College will hold its fifty-eighth annual Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the McVean Student Center Gymnasium. 337 degrees and certificates will be awarded to 331 students.

  • SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) and Jefferson Community College (JCC), announced each institution has received $125,000 in funding from SUNY as part of an overall $250,000 award to strengthen the registered nursing (RN) pipeline, improve graduate retention rates in the RN and BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) programs, and develop a seamless pathway for RNs to pursue BSN, MSN (Master of Science in Nursing), and DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) programs at SUNY Poly.

  • According to the State University of New York (SUNY), more than one-third of people working in New York State hold a degree from a SUNY institution. Jefferson Community College (JCC) is one of 30 community colleges in the SUNY system. To maximize the opportunity to get a college degree in the North Country, JCC offers multiple class start times. Registration is open and applying for admission at JCC is free.
