Jefferson Community College (JCC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Maryrose Eannace to the position of Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs. Dr. Eannace began working at JCC on July 1, 2020 and collaborated with the outgoing Vice President for Academic Affairs, Mr. Thomas J. Finch, for a seamless transition of their roles upon Finch's retirement on August 31, 2020.

Jefferson will offer face-to-face non-credit allied health pre-certification training in September and October 2020. Anyone may take advantage of the in-person training to build their skills and enhance their resume, or prepare for another career. Military spouses may use MyCAA funding to cover the cost of the training.

JCC has received another TRiO Student Support Services grant from the U.S. Department of Education of $1.4 million dollars spread over the next five years. This is the fifth TRiO grant the College has received from the U.S. Department of Education. The funding is designated to provide academic support and assistance for JCC students who meet certain eligibility criteria.
